Swimming pool compliance certificates for sales and leases postponed until 29 April 2016
The Minister for Local Government has announced an extension until 29 April 2016 for the commencement of the requirement to have a valid compliance certificate in respect of a swimming pool before such a property can be sold or leased.
From that date it will be necessary to attach the certificate of compliance to the contract the sale. Failure to attach the certificate will entitle a purchaser to rescind a contract for sale.
